Please help save the life of Jimmy Ashkenazi

   Jimmy Ashkenazi [ Gamliel Ben Rachel ] is 67 years old with 4 children and 5 grandchildren. He is suffering from chronic renal failure and needs a live kidney donor. He is fighting constant fatigue and yet he won't just sit at home. He uses all of his energy to continue working, doing what he loves, especially since he is in the catering business and enjoys partaking in all people's simchas.

    He can barely attend Shabbat services anymore even though he lives only a half block away from the Shul. However, he is inspired by his 6 year old granddaughter who looks forward to going with him on Saturday so he tries not to dissappoint her.

    He is currently on the list for a cadaver organ which could take 4 to 7 years, but his best chance for a successful transplant is from a live donor [ type A neg. or O] before he has to start dialysis and time is of the essence. He has already been through so much. 6 years ago he underwent a successful liver transplant. Unfortunately, his good health was short lived. 2 years ago his kidneys started to fail and since then his health has been deteriorating.
