In order to save more lives, Neshama
needs to create campaigns to get the word out about both Neshama and the
individuals in need who we are trying to help. Our concept is to tell the
stories of people with hopes that individuals may decide, after reading a
story, to get tested to see if they are a compatible donor and then become
organ donors.
We recognize that it takes a special
individual to be a living organ donor and that most people, for whatever
reason, will not be living donors, and we respect that. In order to run our
campaigns to find living organ donors, we need the funding to make it possible.
The following are some of the activities we would like to accomplish:
Window Sticker Campaign: We would like to print 10,000
window-static stickers, which are essentially window decals that can be removed
from windows without leaving any marks on the glass or damaging the car. The
cost of this campaign is $2,300.
Newspaper ads: We would like to
run newspaper campaigns in Jewish newspapers to get the word in the home town
of the individuals we are trying to help. This ad concept has worked for us in
the past.
Neshama is in the process of getting a
501(c)3, so we should be able to give a tax deductible receipt, but we can not
promise one at this time.
